Latest News YorPower Emergency Power for Scottish Water Treatment

A company that specialise in water treatment in the North West of Scotland contacted YorPower with an emergency requirement for ten 20kVA generators. Unusually dry weather had led to the imminent danger of fresh water becoming contaminated. The solution was to pump compressed air through the water but because of the remote locations involved the pumps had to be powered by generators on site.

The situation was rapidly becoming critical and only YorPower could guarantee to deliver the generators in time. From initial enquiry to delivery of all ten generators to site, ten miles north of Inverness, took only five working days – a testament to YorPower’s depth of stock and ability to respond to customer needs.

The customer was very impressed and has since ordered three further generators and the population of North West Scotland continue to enjoy sparkling fresh water.
