Newcastle University Hospital Chooses YorPower
YorPower was recently selected by Newcastle University Hospital to remove and replace a twenty year old emergency generator.
The critical nature of the generator requirement meant that YorPower had to remove the old unit and all its associated fuel pipes and exhaust system and install the new 800KVA set extremely quickly.
The task was complicated by very limited access. In addition to the new cable and exhaust connections YorPower engineers also installed a new Deep Sea Electronics control unit to ensure continuous supply of the hospital’s power needs.
