UK independent generator manufacturer, YorPower, has announced a major increase in investment in its East African operation. The investment includes a huge increase in the number of UK manufactured YorPower generators held in stock at the company's premises in Nairobi for immediate delivery throughout the region.

Ben Whitmarsh, YorPower's International Sales Director explained: "YorPower recognise the importance of stock availability to businesses that need a new generator and cannot wait for several weeks for it to arrive from overseas". As a service led company YorPower also recognise that potential customers frequently want to visit their supplier to discuss a purchase and to see the equipment they are buying.

YorPower Kenya, already a well established supplier, is fully equipped to provide all the services their customers rightly expect, from pre-delivery inspection to installation and on-site servicing. Conveniently located near Nairobi airport, YorPower serves Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Sudan, Rwanda and Burundi.

The local team, under Operations Manager Mary Murimi and Sales Manager Tim Wanjau, are trained in all aspects of generator sales and after sales service and have the back-up of one of the UK's major independent manufacturers.

During a recent visit to Kenya Ben Whitmarsh said, "We are very keen to talk to industry leaders in the region who are ready to expand their businesses and become involved in the YorPower success story".
